I just bought a new Kubota 40 HP in Thailand and the transmission drives the tractor before the PTO comes in really annoying . the tractor moves when mowing before the pTO starts the mower

Why are lawnmower blades always straight? Clearly, when you look at what people used before power mowers everything was curved... sickles, scythes, push-mowers they all had curved blades because they simply cut better. Why, then, has no one implemented this for lawnmowers (LAWN, specifically, not hogs which use kinetic force to break rather than cut)? All I find are blades for a 'spider' brand mower which I've never seen nor heard of.

GST is the only transmission I have ever owned and will only buy GST tractors. Idiot proof for employees and Kubota should think hard about limiting their models with HST or geared transmissions.

How does this actually work? is it a epicyclic gear on the front driveshaft? Even my B2530 has this, I only found out by accident as i noticed it doing something on a turn. There is a linkage from the axle that operates something in the transmission.

Do you know if I could buy the new LED headlights for a 2023 model? And tail lights if they have replaced those too?

I have a '98 Toyota Tacoma 4x4. I can use it to do more work than this Kubota and for the price of the Kubota I could buy (4) 1998 Tacoma trucks for what I paid for mine. These things cost way, far far, far too much compared to a FAR FAR FAR, EXTREMELY FAR more capable light duty pickup truck, that can carry far more weight, tow far more mass, and I can drive it down the interstate. These RTVs for the asking price are nothing more than waste of money toys. I own a Grand L4060 and hopefully soon a KX057. Still dont see the need to pay $25K plus for a less capable far slower and really not a whole lot smaller toy truckling.

I was the I/T Director for a Caterpillar Dealer for 36 years. Along with market share, price and parts availability I would add a key factor for anyone purchasing any piece of equipment such as a tractor would be the dealer network to stand behind the product and provide parts and service support for the product. Some times cheaper is a good option but most times it comes back to you on the backend like you mentioned. I enjoy your videos and hearing how you run and manage your dealership. Good luck to you!

I wish they would have shown a little more light on Kaleb’s new tractor because I believe that’s actually HIS. As in he bought it for his own company not just Jeremy’s and I have to imagine that not only was that probably the first brand new piece of equipment he ever bought but was a monumental achievement for him.

My neighbor got a new m7060 and it won’t lift the front tires off the ground with the fel or loader bucket. Is there a setting we’re missing.

I demo’ed one for a few days and it’s a powerhouse. Truly amazing machine. Too big for my needs but as a lifetime CAT guy I was truly impressed by the power of this unit….

That guy is a dying breed. He is a trove of knowledge he can sit there and give a lecture on how this works and patiently explain every aspect of the situation. Love watching people like him.

I'm running a 12' mower conditioner with a 24.7 horse subcompact tractor (KIOTI CS2410) with zero issues... going on two years now. I've found that most implements are FAR over estimated on the required HP. I've used an old 7-foot sickelbar mower, NH 488 haybine, NH 315 square baler and it doesn't even slow down on my hilly property. I will say that using a subcompact can be dangerous if ground is to steep due to it being light and able to tip sideways. Flat ground no issues at all.

Thank you for making this video. I do wish you would have added the actual number of manufacturers and the brands they manufacture. Sure each 'brand' may have some little details of their own, but by far and large, they are at their core, from one of the major manufacturers.

Hydro-drive power units are king for applications such a landscaping. The ability to feather the machine travel speed instantly is much safer than gear drive and loader work is also more efficient. Gear drive has its place though, especially for field work.

I purchased a rubber snake off of amazon and it made a huge difference. I basically put it up under the hood and tied it in place with a piece of fishing line so it looked real. It has stopped both mice and squirrels.

The power of hydraulics always impressed me , interesting to see inner workings.

I taught hydraulics in a VoTec in Oklahoma for 5 years and loved it. Before I taught worked as a hydraulic technician and put in a few hours in the field working on Sundstrand pumps and motors. Nothing like fluid power. 👍🏻

Looks expensive. They have play-boards for toddlers that show how gears work, so I guess I’ll stick with my 35 year old gear grinder Ford tractor. I understand it.

And those tolerances are why you change your transmission/hydraulic fluid regularly, and with the right fluid for your *specific* machine!
